Peckham is an example of diversity. It is situated in South London inside the council of Southwark. It is a small town which is centred around a central high-street down a road called Rye Lane. The main railway station which travels to Water-loo proves an area is a perfect place for workers who are employed in central London, showing it is becoming a richer area. Under gentrification, more people of a higher class are moving in. It got a vertical orientation with the main commercial shops like JD Sports at the north with more independent shops in the south.
